In my practice I aim to be collaborative, supportive, and genuine. I believe these aspects allow me to better understand the client and together work on agreed upon treatment goals. My passion for psychology stems from helping others understand themselves and empowering them to create a life they want to live. I have a special interest in working complex trauma, relationship and attachment difficulties, and personality disorders.
I am registered as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and am a Board Approved Supervisor. My experience is primarily working in an adult community health and drug and alcohol setting where I provided assessment, court reports, and short and long-term treatment. I predominantly work from a cognitive behavioural therapeutic framework, pulling from other modalities tailored to the clients’ needs. This includes Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Psychodynamic informed treatment.
